Season 4 is the peak of the series in my opinion, and I don't think we will get something as consistent and tight as it again. "The Upgrade," "The Romantic," "The Origins," "The Advice," "The Signal," "The Nest," "The Night," "The Blame," "The Disaster" and so many more I cannot fit in this list. Most importantly, this season just has so many instant classics. This season really did some interesting things with its visuals, whether it be inviting guest animators, experimenting with new camera angles, or making use lighting or weather effects. The writers took the already splendid characterizations established in Season 3 and tightened a few things. All of them hit their stride this season in terms of characterizations and dynamic.

The blending of surrealism, dark humor, slapstick, satire, and slice-of-life is done perfectly, and the tight and clever writing of it all only elevates it. Gumball has always had a unique sense of humor, but this is the pinnacle of that. There are a few mediocre ones ("The Crew," "The Apprentice," "The Awkwardness," and "The Compilation"), but nothing that I found downright terrible, which is more than I can say for the other seasons.

A bit of a bold claim, but I earnestly do not find any of the episodes in that season bad. It took everything that Season 3 established and tightened it to a science.
